Daniel Wickens – Managing Director
Daniel leads Wicomms with a people‑first philosophy, shaped by more than a decade in telecoms, a background in finance, and a genuine commitment to helping micro and small businesses communicate better. His approach is simple: technology should make life easier – not add complexity. Daniel personally works with every client, ensuring their cloud phone systems, mobile plans, and wider communications are clear, cost‑effective, and scalable as they grow.
Running Wicomms day‑to‑day, Daniel combines hands‑on client support with the reliability of trusted wholesale partners for specialist technical assistance. This balance allows him to provide personal service backed by robust industry expertise.
Daniel’s personal journey strongly influences how he runs the business. After his son’s serious health scare and later neurodivergent diagnoses, he reshaped the way he works – prioritising flexibility, understanding, and support. Those same values now guide how Wicomms supports its clients: with patience, clarity, and solutions that genuinely fit real‑world needs.
Outside of Wicomms, Daniel enjoys family time, country walks, and motorsport – especially BTCC and F1. He even used to race himself, becoming a champion at just 15.
